	Athniel "Addie" Ottley

Host of The Morning Show Addie has been riding the St. Thomas airwaves for years. Veteran of the Territorial Senate and former Lieutenant Governor, Addie has his fingers on everything that's going on in the Virgin Islands. Addie's Morning Show is the most listened to program in the region. Everyone who matters is either on the show or listening to it. Addie's Morning Show is a must. In addition to the calls, Addie always has the most important news of the day on the Morning Show.

The Morning Show is brought to you by CitiBank, AT&T, Sunrise Pharmacy, and a host of other great companies. Addie says, "Today is a little bit better than yesterday." Addie also hosts the Face to Face Program on Channel 12 TV, the PBS station in the Virgin Island


	Irvin "Brownie" Brown

The Original Side of Walter and Brownie For the last 30 years Brownie has been bringing the Calypso sound to the Virgin Islands every day from 12:30 to 3 PM. Brownie and his famous sidekick Walter are hosts of The Original Side of Walter and Brownie.

Brownie's show is a "Good Ting" for everyone with the Birthday party and lots of friends and visitors coming to hear Brownie's entertaining time on the air. And the music - Calypso, with a taste of Salsa thrown in.

Brownie is from St. Thomas Virgin Islands. He's been a musician for 40 years playing the drums and singing calypso. He loves to be the Emcee at Carnival shows and he does a little comedy here and there. Brownie also helps out every Christmas as Santa Brownie - a ubquitous sight at Christmas time. He goes to all the kindergarden classes and head start schools. For the big events "he come sin" on a Coast Guard Boat, or Helicopter. Brownie says he needs to get rich. No. He is already rich - like a cheesecake, not like a Rockefeller.

Walter is Brownie's sidekick and friend. He comes from Tortola and has a mind of his own on every possible topic. Walter hates things to go wrong and he's not afraid to say so. Walter says some things Brownie would never say, and Brownie admits that he never knows what Walter may do or say. After so many years of working together, it is still a surprise every day.


	Lee Carle - News Director

Lee Carle's NEWSDAY airs at 6:30 AM, 12:07 PM and 5:15 PM. Virgin Islanders have come to depend on Lee Carle's NEWSDAY to keep up on important news of the day. Lee has been in the Virgin Islands for 45 years in every aspect of broadcasting from music to news and entertainment. He is still considered the Anchor in the news in the Virgin Islands.


	Alex Randall

Good News Headlines Alex is the most recent member of the WSTA on-air staff. He blew into St.Thomas on the winds of Hurricane Marilyn and settled in to stay. Alex is a computer guy. He was host of Computer Exchange Radio on the Talk America Network and he has been a regular correspondent on Voice of America. He has traveled all over the world working on computers for public education. In the picture, Alex is the one with the fur on his face.

Alex is the WebHead at the radio station and is planning more experiments where Radio meets the Internet. Alex thinks there is plenty of good news. Most journalists have "bad news" grooves in their brains. Good News Headlines is a new idea in reporting with an eye on the stuff that's going the right way.

GOOD NEWS was discovered in 1995 on St. Thomas at WSTA.

	Ras Regg

Host of Reggae Runnings for 13 years. He runs the cool sound of Ras Regg from 3 PM to 5 PM every Day and late into the night he spins up reggae tunes. Regg was born into reggae. As a kid he had his own recording set and taped all the local musicians this led him into Reggae and gave him roots deeper than any tree!

All the Reggae stars of the era are friends of Regg's. He recorded artists like Anita, Afiya and Afimo, Jahbanks, Five Starr, Enforcement Band and now Rowdy Massive.

He does his own tunes as well, like Redonda with Dean Baptiste of the Express Band as Lead Vocals and on bass , Al Baptiste on Keyboards and arranger, PO Edwards on Guitar and The Rat on drums.

This year it is all about Rowdy Massive. The band is Afimo Martin, Afiya Martin, Sean White, troy White, Trent Williams, Kimo David, Daniel Dawson, Marc Benjamin and Akimo Martin. Songs by Ras Regg. Their album is out in April 1996 and it will be available everywhere that matters.


	Bob Wilmer

Sports of All Sorts! Program Director Bob Wilmer is also your host for Sports of all Sorts every day at 12:20 to 12:30 and again from 6:15 to 6:30. If that's not enough sports, then listen as Bob hosts Saturday's Sports talk call in from 12 to 1 every Saturday. Not only is Bob joined WSTA in 1987 and became the Program Director in 1995.

Bob is from Brooklyn, New York. He claims to be an ex-Dodger fan, now an ardent NY Mets fan. He is been in St. Thomas and in St. Thomas radio since 1971 where he started with FM station WCRN where he was the news director. WVWI was Bob's next home where he was a broadcaster for 14 years.

He loves to play tennis where his forehand is his strongest point. In addition to tennis, Bob is a music lover. His taste turns toward classical music and he loves beautiful intelligent women. Reading and writing are his other strong suits but not 'rithmetic. His favorite thing to do is to announce baseball games. He loves baseball and broadcasting; Announcing baseball is the merger of these two loves.

He is an inveterate kibbitzer and prankster. We do our best to get back at him, but he is a wily fellow and always prevails. Don't leave any rocks on his car.


	Michael Moron

(pronounced �more-OWN�) Michael is always on hand to cover the needs of WSTA for every emergency. He is the host of a variety music show. He fills in for all the vacationing, traveling, absent on-air staff. He also has a beard now.


	Andre Ottley

Ottley Communications Corporation Secretary and Host of We The People Andre is an unassuming man with a loud voice for the missions he selects. He has temporarily suspended broadcast of We The People.


	Ms J

The Ms J Show Every Wednesday from 3-4 PM Ms J takes calls from those who need to talk to her about their personal issues. The lines are open to you. Miss J. Has been in St. Thomas since 1967. She has always had some television or radio show going and her's are usually controversial. She speaks up for the underdogs and reminds us always be be true to ourselves. She is the founder of "Business on the Move."

She is currently a leading member of the Rotary 2 in Charlotte Amalie. She sponsors the Special Olympics and works for the Department of Human Services in the public rela tions area. She's been married for 34 years and has a daughter - Faith Jackson - 19 years old.


	Andrew "Funkyman" Shachove

Funkyman Andrew "Funkyman" Shachove is the special feature coordinator at WSTA. He features the superstars of the 70's era. Funkyman has been in radio since the age of 14. He started at WSTA when it was located in Frenchtown St. Thomas. His special features incl ude local bands and solo acts in four hour feature shows. Funkyman is the Master of Ceremonies for most major concert events here in the Virgin Islands and he travels to the US mainland to MC shows there too.

In his spare time, Funkyman is the special assistant to the Virgin Islands fire Service handling most public relations situations. He is the voice of the fire Service and the voice of special music in the Virgin Islands. He is also the Pepsi voice of the Caribbean.


	Hayden "J" Joseph

Hayden J is the host of the most popular music count down in the Virgin Islands. His is the Caribbean Top 25 Countdown and can be heard every Friday night from 9 PM until midnight. Hayden started in radio on Station ZOK in Antigua as an amateur. His ca reer continued in St. Thomas where he was co-host of a popular show of Radio 105.3 FM called the Music Mix. He joined WSTA in early 1993 as a swing man. In December 1993 he hosted the first annual Caribbean Top 50's Countdown which is the climax of the weekly Top 25 Countdown every Friday Night.

These folks are also part of the WSTA on-air personalities, but we don't have their biographies yet: Kysha Blyden, Kishma Vincent, & Peter Ottley.
